The Salema can be identified by its silvery body with brown/orange horizontal stripes, large eye, and forked tail. They are a schooling fish. Many 6-8" Salema are present in this exhibit.
Habitat and distribution
Most commonly found in shallow waters near reefs and piers. Ranges throughout the Eastern Pacific from USA to Mexico.
